It also assists the decision-making of non-ophthalmologist physicians to improve the examination rate of ocular fundus disease, enabling early screening and treatment, thus protecting public health. This is the World's first product that auto-detects four types of lesions and two types of anatomical landmarks. It's also Taiwan's first AI grade II medical device which provides both CADx/CADe. |

It effectively increases the cancer drug concentration in tumors to improve the drug effects and reduce side effects. Compared with the commercial drug CPT-11, DBPR115 requires only 20% of the dosage to achieve colorectal, rectal, and pancreatic tumor growth inhibition that is multiple times better. |

DBPR376 demonstrates potent efficacy (remission) against triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) and ovarian cancer. |

The technologies of this project originates from national research institutes, and after more than 20 years of research and development, we have established six core technologies including cell biology, molecular biology, pharmacology and toxicology, clinical trial, pharmaceutical science, GACP agriculture, and patents. BEL-X will provide effective and safe treatment for patients in the future, and develop localized supply chain in response to the international situation, which will achieve medical independent and national security of health and safety. |

Regular antibiotics are ineffective in killing bacteria in human cells, causing prolonged treatment process and repeated residual infections. This Antibody-Antibiotics conjugation combines two antibiotics or drug to enter the cell with bacteria, thus effectively eleminates the infected bacteria inside the cells. The product reduces repeated infections and overall medicare costs. |

It is capable of producing 100 mg pharmaceutical-grade nucleic acid drugs with a purity of over 90%. In collaboration with Dr. Yang, Kai-Chien from National Taiwan University College of Medicine, the platform has developed the first-class oligonucleotide drug for the prevention of pulmonary fibrosis. Its effectiveness in slowing down the progression of pulmonary fibrosis has been demonstrated in mouse animal trials. |

The technology offers real-time monitoring of the cell growth environment, cell numbers, cell type, and detection of any contamination of the environment. Also, the entire process features an automated solution exchange procedure, which reduces the chances of contamination of the sterile environment by workers. Labor costs can be reduced by 50%. |

This innovative drug effectively degrades AR and AR-V7 proteins within prostate cancer cells, resulting in the inhibition of castration-resistant tumor growth. The preclinical toxicology study has demonstrated the drug's favorable safety profile, highlighting its potential as a novel protein degradation drug. ITRI's oral bioavailable AR/AR-V7 PROTAC drug represents a significant advancement in the field of prostate cancer treatment and offers a promising therapeutic option for patients with CRPC. |

工研院利用抗體工程技術,開發「ITRI-501-抗TIGIT抗體新藥」,能夠有效阻斷TIGIT與腫瘤上的蛋白質結合,進而活化T細胞的能力。相較於現行臨床生物相似藥,ITRI-501能使毒殺癌細胞的效果提升數倍以上,且可單一治療或搭配其他藥物進行合併治療。 Based on antibody engineering technology, ITRI developed ITRI-501, an anti-TIGIT antibody drug for effectively blocking the interaction of TIGIT with cognate ligand, CD155 expressed on tumor cell, and then activated the cytotoxic T cells. Compared with the clinical drugs, ITRI-501 exhibited a superior efficacy on tumor cell killing by more than several times. It can be used as a single treatment or combined with other drugs for combinational therapy |
