This technique is a radio wave analogy of the bats' sonar system that analyzes more than 500 reflected waves from the human body to detect subtle movements like breathing and heartbeats. It achieves non-contact physiological detection with the slightest interference to users. This technique is funded by the Healthy Longevity Global Grand Challenge's Catalyst Award from the National Academy of Medicine (NAM). It applies to sleep apnea detection to enable the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease.

The "shear flow forming technology" for the third-generation plant-based meat creates a long-fiber structure with a meat-like texture. The thin, long fiber of the plant-based meat provides a taste and fiber bundles more similar to actual meat. This technology is more suitable to produce whole muscle meat products. In comparison, the competitors can only create single directional fiber structures without fiber bundles. They also require secondary processes to make steaks, which are time consuming and laborious.

The development of fluorescent color dope dyed fibers by the TTRI can greatly improve the light fastness and washing fastness of fluorescent colored yarns to above grade 4. Its fluorescent color gamut conforms to the ISO 20417 international standard and can be used in outdoor, sports, leisure,safety apparel and workwear textiles, enhance the additional value of textiles.

改變鞋子組成複雜、不易回收，僅能作為垃圾處理之現況，以國內具優勢的聚酯為基材，開發適用於鞋面、鞋底、鞋膠等規格的聚酯材料，並透過成型加工生產全聚酯鞋。當全聚酯鞋廢棄後，可投入熱熔造粒設備，重新再製成聚酯原料粒及新商品，符合環保永續之趨勢。

To change the current situation that shoes have complex compositions, is difficult to recycle, and is treated as garbage. The domestic high-quality polyester is used to develope 100% polyester shoes and suitable for processing uppers, soles and glue. When 100% polyester shoes are discarded, they can be put into themo-melt granulation equipment to reprocess polyester pallets and new products, which fit to the trend of environmental protection and sustainability.

Accurate motion detection clothing provides both wearable comfort and detection accuracy. Differ from traditional wires and sensors, it uses conductive fibers to develop medical-grade elastic lead wires and washable EMG electrodes. Through the design of a 3D adjustable wearing structure, it solves the mechanical interference and displacement noise caused by bone and muscle movements. Meawhile, combining body surface EMG and inertial sensing information significantly improves the accuracy of motion detection.

The domestic baking and brewing industry is facing problems such as dependence on imported yeast, lack of local characteristics, difficulty in scaling up and difficult to use. This technology builds Taiwan's first baking/brewing microbial library as well as integrated application technologies, providing flavorful, natural, functional yeast products with less additives. We also provide services such as rapid microbial identification, optimization of production process, reduction of wastage, quality improvement and development of new products with local characteristics

Use RGB-D cameras and machine learning models, it can identify the defects, color and sweetness of raw materials to classify , and improve the identification speed of raw materials without destroying the raw materials. It solves the problem of human judgment errors, and can analyze the fruit grades in real time online, and complete the grading operations quickly and accurately.

The iPetWeaR uses Non-contact LPMS radar(Low Power Microwave Sensing), weighing just under 20 grams. By simply placing the collar around the pet's neck or chest, it can long-term monitor the pet's heartbeat and breathing. The collected data is then transmitted in real-time to the owner's or caregiver's mobile device via Bluetooth. This has paved the way for new business opportunities in pet health management, providing 24-hour care and health management.

Exercise with technology has become a new trend in lifestyle. Especially after the pandemic, a tremendous amount of fitness tech brought the brand new concept of health. With the popularization of sports and health awareness, People expect to achieve good fitness efficiency in a limited time and without causing sports injuries. In this project, based on functional clothing, sports, and fitness auxiliary integration technology, we create two sport-tech apparel systems: motion capture + electromyography (EMG) detection and motion capture+ electrical muscle stimulation (EMS).With the system architecture and integration of different technologies, we develop a digital fitness apparel system with diversified applications. The MoCap with EMG can be used in remote exercise training. Users and trainers can focus on their course and training progress with the system's assistance. The system can provide the data to correct the posture and train muscles simultaneously. On the other one, the Mocap with EMS system can give the extra training loading to enhance the training performance.
